Question: Sir, I want to ask that "Who was the first bowler to take
hat-trick in One Day cricket ?" Thank You

Question: Gus Logie was once awarded the Man of the Match for his fielding.
He had neither performed exceptionally well with either the bat or the ball.
Has anyone else also been awarded a Man of the Match for neither batting /
bowling? I think Bob willis was once awarded the M.O.M. for his captaincy.
Please list all such incidents. Thanks.
Answer 2: West Indian Gus Logie, who did not bat or bowl in the match against
Pakistan at Sharjah on 28-11-1986, was awarded the man of the match award
for his three brilliant catches. Bob Willis received his MOM award against
Sri Lanka at Leeds in the 1983 World Cup on 20-6-1983, for his captaincy,
although he had figures of 9-4-9-1 in the match. Australian Mark Taylor
received an award for both his captaincy and four catches against the West
Indies at Sydney on 8-12-1992.

Query: This is actually a sort of correction to your answer about MoM awards for reasons other than batting/bowling. If I remember correctly, Jonty Rhodes won the award during a match against the West Indies, here in India (don't remember the tournament). I believe he held 4 or 5 catches. Could you clarify this please?
Answer: hi Chirag
Jonty Rhodes won the man the match award against the West Indies at the Brabourne Stadium on 14-11-1993 not only for his five catches but also for his 40 (off 42 balls). Had he not scored these runs, the award would have gone to Daryll Cullinan who made 70 (retd hurt) in 81 balls.
