2006's top Telugu heroes

Siddharth
This year, Siddharth made it big in the Hindi film industry with his very first film, Rang De Basanti, now a cult classic. His Telugu blockbuster Bommarillu, a simple yet heartwarming tale of relationship between a father and a son, has also run for more than four months. This year saw the birth of Siddharth as a technician too. The star scripted his first Telugu film and acted in the second one (after Nuvvastanante Nenoddantana) titled Chukkalo Chandrudu featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Waheeda Rehman, which released around Sankranti this year. Chukkalo... may not have been a smash hit but it garnered enough praise.
But Bommarillu seems to be rewriting all records for Siddharth who is working on his next film Aata (an MS Raju production -- the man behind Nuvvastanante Nenoddantana). A man who dubs his own voice, Siddharth seems to be comfortably settled in the Telugu film industry.
