Prabhas
He is slowly becoming a force to reckon with in the Telugu film industry. After a fairly lukewarm start, he tasted success with Varsham produced by M S Raju a few years ago. Two films like Adavi Ramudu and Chakram followed which hardly created magic.
However, Prabhas came back with Chatrapati, a huge hit. In 2006 his teaming up with M S Raju (and Trisha) for Pournami did not spell success even though Prabhas attempted to do something different. Success may have eluded him this year but Prabhas is on firm ground with two projects, Yogi (with Nayantara, helmed by V V Vinayak) and Munna (with Ileana, produced by the successful Dil Raju and directed by debutante Vamsee Paidipally), scheduled to release early in 2007.
