Wanted for the IC-814 hijack and terrorist activities in Kashmir. Mistri was one the five hijackers and was addressed as 'Bhola' by his co-hijackers: Ibrahim Athar (Chief); Sunny Ahmed Qazi (Burger); Shahid Akhtar Saeed (Doctor); and Shaqir (Shankar).

After the hijack, Mistri and the others disappeared in southern Afghanistan, making their way to Quetta and Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
