Athar, younger brother of Jaish-e-Mohammad founder Maulana Masood Azhar, is also wanted in connection with the IC -14 hijacking. The other hijackers called him 'chief'.

Azhar's interrogation report says Athar was 28 years old in 1994. He works at the family-run poultry farm in Pakistan, it adds.

Athar is a Jaish-e-Mohammad member and is also wanted for kidnapping and murder.
