Davy is variously described as a Dane, a New Zealander, an Englishman and an American. He was among the six foreigners arrested after the sensational arms drop case, but he escaped.

The CBI chargesheet says Davy alias Jan Christian Nielsen has 46 passports and speaks a dozen languages including Hindi.

The Bureau says it has traced Davy to Denmark, but efforts to extradite him to India have been in vain.
