I cannot express my feelings. I was selected to lead the 148-strong contingent of the Delhi Police for the Republic Day parade.
It was a great honour to salute the President of your country as you march past the saluting dais. I could catch a glimpse of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam from the corner of my eye as we went past the VIP enclosure.
I will cherish this moment throughout my life. I am glad our hard work paid off.
