Director Prasanth Mambully has created history in his maiden attempt by completing a two-hour plus feature film in a single day -- 17 hours -- to be precise, on December 8 last.
Titled Bhagavan, the film stars Mohanlal as Dr Balagopal, a gynecologist who averts a fatal terrorist attack on the hospital with his dedication and courage.
Bhagavan, produced by Vijeesh Mani, will hit theatres in April. Now the director has plans to make the film in Tamil with Arjun and in Kannada with Shivraj Kumar.
In an exclusive chat, director Prasanth Mambully talks to Meghna George about the accomplishment of that virtually impossible mission. Excerpts:
