Role: I play Anuja, a college professor. I did not put any makeup for this role, and no great costumes -- just a cotton sari. So it was very comfortable. I did not have to do much preparation, as I come from Rajasthan.

Working with Anurag: Anurag would explain the scene very well I had to do a scene where my character is sitting in the balcony. She is very disappointed with some events in the college, and has to speak to her father. In real life, even though my father is no more, I'm very connected to him. So I imagined myself speaking to my real father, and got so emotional. Anurag helped me get that scene so well too. It's come out very good.

Modelling to acting was a smooth transition. Anurag called me one day, and told me that he had a role for me. I had never acted before but he said that, 'I am sure you have an actress inside you, I will help you get it out.' So I took up the offer.
