'Everything begins and ends with Jeeva for me'

Didn't you think of directing Muthirai?

I felt it was too early for me to take on the director's mantle at the time when I am handling production.

What is Muthirai about?

It means stamp, or leaving a mark behind. The story is about two young men who get entangled in things which they cannot handle. How they get out of the mess is what the film is about.

I don't want to go into detail. Suffice to say that the film has comedy and romance to begin with, as well as lots of action.

Is starting Vision Jeeva Studios and making films a kind of tribute to your husband?

Absolutely. Everything begins and ends with Jeeva for me. I don't know whether I am paying him a tribute.

You take care of production, you write stories, you have your children to look after. From where do you get the energy to do everything?

Remaining occupied is far more important than being upset about what has happened. This keeps me on my toes, and I am happy that I wake up in the morning with the thought that I have so much to do. I have no time to sit down and cry. So, that way, it helps me. Yes, it is a bit stressful. But by God's grace, things have been moving smoothly so far. And I have a good team of people working for the film right now.
