Danny is a very friendly person," Tanvi says. "Tannay (Chheda, who played Jamal), Ashutosh (Lobo Gajiwala, who played Salim) and I would have fun on the sets. We have kept in touch with each other."
Tanvi has won a lot of praise for her work in Slumdog from her school mates, the school principal, teachers and friends.
"Hrithik Roshan said that I acted well in the film," she gushes happily. Tanvi met him and Aamir Khan at the film's Mumbai premiere.
But she feels that her features have changed since she shot for the film, and many people do not recognise her.
"I haven't got any film offers. I am waiting for the Oscars; I have done a lot of shopping in preparation for it. I bought new clothes to wear on different occasions. Besides the Oscars, we will be taken to Disneyland, Universal Studios and a beach in Los Angeles," she says.
