If you've enjoyed NDTV Imagine's Ghar Ki Baat Hai --produced by Shah Rukh Khan -- you probably liked Juhi Babbar in it. The actress does some cute comedy with her co-stars Sumit Raghavan, Ali Asgar and Swapnil Joshi, in this TV show, inspired by the hugely entertaining old telly shows on Doordarshan like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi.
Her film career may not have taken off -- Kaash Aap Hamare Hote (2003) opposite singer Sonu Nigam bombed at the box office -- but Raj Babbar's young daughter is all ready for showbiz on the small screen.
Juhi talks to Rajul Hegde about her TV show.
Where have you been all this time?
I was busy with theatre, which I have been doing for the last 10 years. I write, direct and act in plays like Pencil Se Duster and Begum Jaan. I have also worked with my mom -- theatre personality Nadira Babbar -- in production. I hold theatre workshops for children and adults. It's the place where one can show off one's real talent and potential.
