Fun is watching Tom Hanks play Turner, a compulsive control freak detective losing it to a compulsive idler, drool-machine of a pooch, Hooch.
Hooch is his only chance (read witness) at solving a crime, leaving him with no choice but devote all his waking hours to this lazy-looking albeit astute tail-wagger.
The hilarious camaraderie that follows between the unlikely duo, along with the priceless expression on Hooch's mug is what makes Turner and Hooch gloriously entertaining at all times.
