'The Desi Girl set was stressful to make'

What was the most difficult part designing the sets?

Since the house was my first, I was nervous. It was tough. The Desi Girl set was stressful to make. There were lots of lights and heat. The office was the easiest to make.

How many times did you have to change the sketch to get the final one?

I think I have done around 100 sketches.

How difficult or easy is it to replicate places abroad here?

It was very difficult earlier. Now not so much. Everything is easily available in India now.

How does it feel when the set is broken down after the shoot is over?

Initially it was very heart-breaking, but then you get used to it. In case of the apartment, we actually lived in there before it was pulled down.
