The Most Unconventional Heroes

We love to drool over the drop-dead looks of Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan's biceps. But looks are not the entry card to Bollywood. In fact, some of the biggest stars in the film industry aren't stunning, in the conventional way.

Like Ajay Devgan. He may not fit into the Most Attractive Men list, but his piercing eyes and talent can make a hit film. In fact, the entire cast of this week's release, Sunday, is not the regular good looking squad.

We take a look at unconventional heroes, who made it big in the movies.

Ajay Devgan

Ajay Devgan came and conquered us in his first film itself. Up till his arrival, Bollywood did not have a good action hero. Ajay's Phool Aur Kaante (1991) filled that void. He followed it up with many action films, and soon became a sought-after hero.

Then, the actor proved that he was just as good in comedy and romance, with his films, Ishq (1997) and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).

The actor since graduated to serious films like The Legend Of Bhagat Singh and Halla Bol, and is still loved by his fans.
