Irrfan Khan
When Irrfan graduated from the National School of Drama in 1984, he started looking out for interesting movie roles. All he got, however, were negative roles. His part in Mira Nair's Salaam Bombay also got left out on the editing table.
After a long struggling phase lasting 12 years, he finally got his big break in Asif Kapadia's The Warrior (2001).
And when he did click, he became one of the most popular actors on screen. Some of his films -- like Life... In A Metro and The Namesake -- are best known for his performance in them.
The actor now bags all kinds of roles -- from comedy, drama to serious ones.
