Blame it, if you will, on his unending Alladin production schedule. Again, we (by which we mean about a dozen people, nationwide) saw the actor in the forgettable De Taali and the equally disappointing Cash, but we definitely want to see more of this quirky, natural actor.
Deshmukh scored brownie points with Masti four years ago, and has since followed that up with Naach, Bluffmaster and one of the biggest hits of last year, Heyy Babyy.
When to see him next: Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin, where he plays the boy who rubs a magic lamp only to have Amitabh Bachchan pop out of it. The film's taken a long time to shoot; let's hope it's worth the wait. Release Date: First quarter, 2009.
