'There is always some room for improvement'

The Unforgettable Tour, which started in Toronto July 18 with Akshay Kumar as a guest star, grew in strength as it travelled to Trinidad, Los Angeles, Houston and then to Atlantic City on its way to Nassau Coliseum and several other venues including London and Rotterdam.

The New York and New Jersey shows were produced by Bharat Jotwani, a showbiz veteran whose previous landmark shows have featured Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Asha Bhosle, Sonu Nigam and A R Rahman.

Victor Khubani patterned with Jotwani for both the Unforgettable events. "In some ways the audiences who are seeing any show after it has opened elsewhere stand to benefit a little more," said Jotwani.

"I have no doubt in my mind that this has been an extraordinary show since it started in Toronto and yet I would like to believe that there is always some room for improvement. And it could also be that the artists are enjoying themselves more as the show continues in different cities."

Preity said each show acquires his own personality.

"I think there is something very different in the air of each city," she said. "As artists, we find each venue invigorating."
