I always feel like a little kid when I play this part. I don't know if kids these days are in the backyard playing army, but when I was a kid, that's what we used to do.
What my character goes through is just like that. Go along for the ride, and watch me get my ass kicked.
Technology has changed. Is there pressure to be one-up?
Well, we're not only competing with ourselves but with every action film that's ever been done. Action movies really are nothing more than morality tales of good triumphing over evil.
The stakes on doing a fourth installment of the film when I could have very easily retired undefeated are high.
