Which stunt was hell for you?
There was a bunch of them. There's a fight scene with Maggie Q that I have to let her kick my ass to keep her from killing Justin Long, because he's doing something with the computer that my character doesn't understand.
So I have to let her beat the crap out of me and she does, and I eventually stop her in a unique way.
Do you still have some scars from the previous movies?
Ya, I've got scars from every one of them. I just got one from getting kicked in the head by this stunt girl (for Maggie Q). We were lucky more people didn't get hurt. There are some big stunts in this film.
Die Hard was always the role model for characters like Jack Bower in 24 which became very successful itself. How did you redefine Die Hard 4?
It's just the visuals that have changed; the character is the same only a little older and crankier.
His daughter is the real calendar on the film. Television has really advanced to a point where we do have to try to compete with Jack Bower and Kiefer Sutherland has done a really great job with that show.
