Govinda
One of the most talented actors in the industry faded away, and there were no takers for this Hero No 1.
Some felt Govinda had become too big for his boots as he reportedly became notorious for his unpunctuality and for throwing his weight around on the sets of his films.
He tried his hand at producing with Sukh but it bombed at the box office. He was already written off when Salman came to the rescue. It is said that Salman helped Govinda bag films like Nikhil Advani's Salaam-E-Ishq, Priyadarshan's Bhagam-Bhag and David Dhawan's Partner.
'I wish I had met Salman Khan earlier in my life,' Govinda once said of Salman. Now, the two seem to be inseparable.
