It still seems like only yesterday that Sylvester Stallone ran up those steps in Philadelphia, puffing his way to the top, breathing life into the iconic character of boxer Rocky Balboa.

And yet, 30 years have passed since Rocky hit screens on November 21, 1976.

There were a great many sequels, of course. And yet another is expected sometime soon. Sly refuses to age quietly.
