Yet another sequel, Lage Raho was one of the biggest hits of the year, and fared much better than the original, Munnabhai MBBS.
It coined a new term Gandhigiri, and re-taught Gandhian values to the present generation in an entertaining way.
The film also established Arshad Warsi as a hugely talented actor, and gave momentum to Sanjay Dutt's acting career.
