Now, dancing with our stars

Talk about hot! Kabir Bedi's daughter Pooja may be a star in her own right but her dance partner Hanif Hillal can do with some introduction. Trained in Latin American ballroom, jazz, Bollywood, jive, Cha-Cha, Paso Doble, waltz and boogie styles, Hanif conducts dance workshops and performs at corporate events, pageants and contests.

Pooja is very excited about Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. "For the last few days, all I have been doing is dancing and dancing. Trust me I am forgetting my steps and postures every day. I am lucky to have an instructor like Hanif who is a perfect gentleman. This is not typical bollywood dancing. It's more difficult, specially for a non-dancer like me."

To encourage Pooja, her father Kabir and kids drop in at practice sessions. "My kids think I am a funny dancer! I still remember on the very first day my kids said, 'Mama please... what are you doing....' but after few days of my practice with Hanif, they were very impressed and congratulated me for my effort." Hanif, too, is all praise for Pooja. "As a student she is very keen and that's so important for a competition like this. I am sure we will rock the stage."
