Shweta Salve & Longinus
This pair is all set to take the stage by storm. A student of Mumbai's Sophia college, Shweta was first runner-up at the Gladrags Model Hunt 1999. She appeared in several ads and the play, Love Story, before going to Bollywood with Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. She moved on to television with serials Hip Hip Hurray, Khamoshiyan Kab Tak, etc.
She's paired with Longinus, a professional choreographer and dancer, who has been in the industry for more than a decade now. Longinus won the Disco Duo dance championship in 1987 and the Solo dance championship in 1989, 90 & 91. He has choreographed for singers like Sunita Rao, Shwetha Shetty, Sharon Prabhakar and choreographed several film songs.
Akashdeep Saighal & Bindi Khare
The bad man is back on the small screen as a good dancer! Akashdeep Sehgal, who had viewers baying for his blood playing Ansh in Kyun Ki..., is all excited about Jhalak.
Akashdeep is paired with Bindi Khare, a trained dancer in Latin ballroom, salsa, hip-hop and Bharat Natyam. Bindi's claim to fame is her entry into the Limca Book of Records for dancing non-stop for 55 hours! With more than 50 classical dance shows to her credit, Bindi is a certified lecturer in the classical style.
