Now, dancing with our stars

The veteran actress is known for her graceful presence on and off screen. She recently made a comeback as Jackie Shroff's wife in Yaadein and has been playing interesting character roles in films like Socha Na Tha, Hum Tum, etc.

Feroz, not to be mistaken for the star actor-director, is a trained dancer in contemporary hip-hop, Bollywood and freestyle dancing. He has choreographed several music videos and has worked in the recent film Chup Chup Ke.

Speaking about the show, Rati says, "I am the oldest in the group and am happy for that. When the proposal came to me I was initially surprised ! After all it's 24 years since i've danced beore an audience. My 20-year-old son has encouraged me a lot here. He said, 'Mama! go for it.' Personally, I like the entire format of this competition. I's really different. I am a very commited person so I will not let down my partner and the audience, though I have no formal training in dance."

Feroz says, "Though she hurt her ankle few days back while dancing, look at how she is full of energy today. I think we have wonderful chemistry and we will definitely click on stage."
