Vindoo Dara Singh, who voices Barfila, expressed apprehension at playing a character (Frozone in the original) otherwise voiced by the coolest of the lot, Samuel L Jackson, but thinks it was a fun experience. Along with everybody else, he felt that since everything Shah Rukh touches turns to gold, he's hoping the same goes for Hum Hain Laajawab.
Ever witty, Jaaved replied that if SRK's Midas touch did indeed manifest itself in this film, than indeed it'd become a fashion statement to start wearing underwear on the outside, like superheroes do!
Shah Rukh said he was more nervous about this film of his than he was about his other big releases, Veer-Zaara and Swades, because he was voicing animated characters, and not, as is the norm, himself.
Finally, on being asked which comic-book superhero Shah Rukh liked most, he said that his generation grew up under the shadow of the Superman phenomenon, but that Spider-Man has just become the biggest and the greatest.
Yet, he added: "I always wanted to be Batman. I thought he was pretty cool. He had this secret life of a playboy, with sexy women, great gadgets, the fabulous car, an underground lab, and a sidekick he could push around to get his job done. I thought he was one of the first dark superheroes to become so popular. I think that'd be fun to do."
