Mission 2007: Technology for rural India
The TeNet Group comprises the faculty from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science departments of the IIT, Madras.
The primary goal of TeNet is that of an incubator encouraging the creation of affordable Information and Communication Technology and services for rural and emerging markets thereby bridging the access divide between urban and rural populations.
n-Logue was formed by the TeNet group with a vision to "significantly enhance the quality of life of every rural Indian by driving the digital revolution profitably."
n-Logue Communications Pvt Ltd sets up entrepreneur-run single PC kiosks in villages and provides them voice and data connectivity using indigenous wireless corDECT technology and also offers various services that focus on livelihood, education and health for villagers.
