'We were the only guests at the hotel'
We hadn't booked a hotel in advance as we wanted to check our options. The beach is dotted with several hotels and one can choose according one’s budget. We went to several hotels before zeroing in on Debraj Hotel which is located at the far end of the beach. We chose a sea facing room that had a lovely view of the sea.
Since we went on a weekday, Mandarmani had very few tourists. In fact we were the only guests at the Debraj hotel!
