Night camping on Mattupetty Hills

While on top, we met two people, a foreigner and an auto rickshaw driver. The auto driver had no prior trekking experience and had lied to the foreigner, who was a lady, claiming to be a local guide.

Here I would like to warn fellow trekkers to never attempt such a thing as it can be dangerous. It is always advisable to go with professional guides/ trekkers with experience.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

We had lunch on top, one of the highest places I had ever been to.

After crisscrossing through the sholas and the grasslands for about fours hours we reached the campsite at 5 pm where Ani and Sumesh set up the tent.
