Night camping on Mattupetty Hills

We had tea and relaxed for a while watching the sun set right in front of our eyes!

At around 8 pm we had hot chapattis, channa masala and fried rice for dinner. It was one of the best my meals in the open with the cold breeze blowing by.

Soon it was time to get inside the tent and retire for the night.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

This was my first ever night camping in the wild and I was a little scared. However, the only thing that disturbed my sleep was a dog at around 1 am.

I woke up at 5.30 am hoping to click pictures of the rising sun. But that was not to be as the horizon was cloudy due to some cyclonic disturbance.
