'Dancing comes so naturally to the people here'

August 19, 2008
Kenzo, a multi-genre instructor from Senegal who now resides in France, said that Indians are born dancers. "It's my first time in India. The first thing I noticed was that dancing comes so naturally to the people here. It's a part of the culture," he observed. "The people I've taught, they're very fast learners. They have a lot of potential."

Albert Torres -- called the Godfather of Salsa -- was scheduled for the event, but was unable to make it, purportedly due to visa trouble. In his stead, Candy Mena and Juan Matos -- a high profile couple from Milan -- served as the most recognisable international names.
