Tolungulasana (Balance pose)

Sit in a cross-legged pose. Inhale. Exhaling, lift knees up in the air. If not confident of balance, lean gently against wall. Hands may be used to hold knees to chest. Otherwise place them on the knees as seen in photo. Hold the pose for as long as you can, breathing normally. Release.

Benefits: It is very calming. The effect on the digestive tract is more if the knees are held against the stomach.
