Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan were adjudged Star TV's Best Romantic Couple at the Star TV Screen Awards held at Mumbai's Andheri Sports Complex.

Asha Bhosle was adjudged best female playback artiste for her song Radha kaise na jale (Lagaan), while Sonu Nigam's soulful Tanhayee (Dil Chahta Hai)

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music for Dil Chahta Hai won them the Best Music Award.
