'DMK enjoys Sonia's goodwill'

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K V Thangabalu, the party candidate for the Salem constituency, told the crowd, "The DMK enjoys the goodwill of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. As long as the Congress is there, the DMK will not face any problems."
Read between the lines, Thangabalu's statement tried to dispel the speculation that the Congress, which supports Karunanidhi's government from the outside, will withdraw from the alliance and go with the AIADMK if that party wins a majority of Lok Sabha seats this election.
