Indian cricket fans in Christchurch had a late Sunday night, celebrating Sachin Tendulkar's first hundred in New Zealand and Team India's victory over the Kiwis in the third one-day international.

And as if that was not enough, some of them decided to have a taste of the adventure the 'Garden City' offers by making it to the backwoods the following day for a south island traverse by helicopter.

Indeed, one was pleasantly surprised, and fortunate, to be flying with a couple of those lads in the chopper.
