Yuvraj Singh (Kings XI Punjab)

Rating: 5/10

Lady luck has not been very kind on Yuvraj Singh in this year's IPL. With Australia playing Pakistan in the UAE, Yuvraj had to start the tournament without his top stars -- Shaun Marsh, Brett Lee and James Hopes.

And then the weather gods also played tormentor, with Kings XI Punjab's first two games being affected by rain. On both occasions they ended up on the losing side.

But his team showed great resolve to bounce back with great performances in the next two games. Now everyone is waiting for Yuvraj to lead from the front with the bat and, maybe, repeat some of the magic he showed during the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa two years back. The left-hander hasn't enjoyed a good run with the bat in the tournament, his return being just 86 runs in four matches at 28.66.

Punjab are looking good at fourth place in the standings, with four points from as many games, but, somehow, don't seem in the same league as Deccan Chargers or Mumbai Indians.
