Lakshmi weaves her magic

The two-year-old, who continues to remain under observation, is taken on a wheelchair around the hospital twice a day. Her parents sit by her side constantly, waiting for that happy day when they will see their daughter walk.
If you look at Lakshmi, it will be difficult for you to believe she has undergone such a complicated surgery. It would have taken a toll on any adult, let alone a child. Even today, when she is being taken on a wheelchair across the hospital, she catches everyone's attention with her bright smile.
And it is this smile, say the doctors, that will play an important role in her speedy recovery.
