Venkatesh added one more victory to his name -- he is called Victory Venkatesh by fans -- with Lakshmi, one of the first releases this year during Sankranti. Family audiences -- read women, who make up a large chunk of Venkatesh's fans -- lapped up the masala film directed by V V Vinayak. Kerala girl Nayantara made her first appearance in Telugu after her super successful Chandramukhi.
