Bommarillu
This simple tale of a relationship between a father and son has been a huge draw. It's still being lapped up by the audience, even after four months of its release. Good performances, chartbusting music, and above all the identifiable theme of GenNext's equation with their familes is still making it tick.
Director Bhaskar arrived with a bang with this sensitive and subtly scripted story. And producer Dil Raju tasted his fourth box-office success in a row. Siddharth was the perfect choice for the main protagonist. And he was a treat to watch in the climax scenes. His crackling chemistry with Genelia was notable too. Bommarillu established that a simple story, made with the right ingredients in the right proportions, will be successful.
