Rafael Nadal beat Mardy Fish 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 on Wednesday to claim a berth in the semi-finals of the US Open for the first time.
It was the Spaniard's fifth win over the American in as many meetings. It took the world No.1 160 minutes to set up a last four clash with Scot Andy Murray.
