"Inflation has killed the aspirations of the middle and lower classes. Everyone has wilted under it. The BJP, the Congress and their allies come to power with the help of the rich and big industrialists. Naturally, their policies will favour the rich and the industrialists.
"They come to power with the vote of the poor but their economic policies are always anti poor. You have to bring the BSP into power both at the Centre and in your state. We are the only party that wins elections with the power of the people and not with the power of money bags or rich people.
"We will work for the benefit of all sections of society. We will solve everyone's problems. We have ruled Uttar Pradesh four times. There we take every section of society with us. We look after everyone. I am releasing the party manifesto in Tamil. Please read it to know about our policies. I will not read that out here."
