Since the US invaded Iraq in 2003 violence and tension has been the main feature of Iraqi Ramzans. But this year, with some lessening of violence, folks had anticipated roaming in the streets late into evening meeting friends and family quite like old times. A bomb explosion at a Ramadan gathering in eastern Iraq has dampened celebrations somewhat.
