The Election Commission on Tuesday announced dates for elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Mizoram and Naxalite-infested Chattisgarh.
The counting of votes in all the states will be taken up on December 8.

Date of notification -- November 11, 2008
Last date for nominations -- November 17, 2008
Last date for scrutiny -- November 18, 2008
Last date for withdrawal -- November 20, 2008
Date of election -- December 4, 2008
Party in power: Bharatiya Janata Party
Chief Minister: Vasundhara Raje Scindia
Main opposition: Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, Lok Janshakti Party
