Though most of the morning walkers are aware of this unusual kacheri, a few are caught by surprise. One by one, many walkers stop by to listen to the twins while others continue walking, occasionally stopping by to listen.
Finally, by 7.45 am, they wind up the kacheri, singing Hanuman Chalisa in Kurunji ragam on audience demand.
The twins sit under a tree and talk, "We are so happy that we could sing in such natural surroundings. It is so different from what we have done in temples. When you sing elsewhere, you have only people as your audience but here, you have birds, cats, dogs and the entire nature as your listeners. It is simply marvellous. It is also quite different from singing with mike and speakers. It is a different experience which we want to do again if we get a chance."
Music to these kids is something that gives happiness and they say they get it in abundance singing in a natural surrounding.
