Fitz Ramedios Santana De Souza is a former deputy speaker from Kenya. BSc in Economics, PhD and Barrister-at-Law from London, he was active in student politics at the London School of Economics, The London Majlis, the EA Students Union and the Labour Party.
He returned to Kenya in 1952 where he participated in the Indian Congress and the Kenya League trying to persuade the largely Indian business community to support the National Movement. He was elected to Parliament of Kenya in 1960 on a Kenya African Union (KANU) ticket. Later elected as the MP for Nairobi Parklands and unanimously elected as the deputy speaker of the new Parliament.
