This year the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation has pemitted 185 stalls, whose owners come from as far as Goa.
No fair is complete without freshly roasted chickpeas. The vendors are from nearby Mahim, but originally hail from Uttar Pradesh. They have been coming to the fair for more than 20 years now.
