Delhi corporator's body
recovered from UP

The body, which was recovered from Jainpur village in Bulandshahr district (Uttar Pradesh), was being brought to Delhi, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West) Sanjay Singh told PTI.

The body was noticed by villagers who reported it to the police, Singh said.

Gupta, who had gone missing last Saturday, is believed to have been shot dead in Daulana area of Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh by some hired killers allegedly at the behest of fellow corporator Sharda Jain.
