'Surya and Tamannah were true professionals'
You shot the songs outside India. Any interesting incidents happened there?
The Nenja Nenje song was shot on the Namibia Botswana border. I went there to see the location in summer and the temperature was around 35 degrees.
After three months, we went there again with the unit to shoot the song. The sky was bright but the temperature was 5 degrees. Plus, it was very windy. The dresses designed for Surya and Tamannah were for meant for summer, so they were clad in sleeveless blouses and thin shirts while the rest of us were covered in sweaters and jackets. Both of them struggled to get the right expressions because they were freezing. But they were true professionals.
