Yet another faithful adaptation of a Sujatha classic, this one traces the journey of a folk-song researcher who lands up in an obscure Tamil village and is instantly catapulted into a mysterious treasure hunt, multiple murders and strange local superstitions.

Starring Prathap Pothen, Sumalatha and Ranjani, the screenplay might have captured the story's essence in theory but the magic of a whodunit thriller was however missing.
